A piece of my story

White sand and teacups; these are a few of my favorite things.

Claiming the beaches of North Florida as my home, white sand between my toes is always evidence of a great day. And I pray that I'm never too busy for friendship and tea.

I am a lifelong Air Force dependent; my father was a career munitions officer and I loved this crazy way of life so much I never wanted to leave. Gratefully, I fell in love with a fellow Florida State Seminole who felt a calling into the military chaplaincy.  He is a chaplain in the Air Force and currently serves in New Jersey.

15 locations (two overseas), 20 houses, 11 AF assignments, 5 funny children, 3 sons-in-law, and 5 grandchildren later, we are still loving this nomadic life and all of the adventures along the way.

Most importantly, I am a Christ-follower. And in the everyday and the mundane, I am constantly aware of the presence of the Lord. I look for Him in the ordinary places in life, and I'd love to share with you where I find Him and what He is revealing to me. And perhaps, to you. So, come walk a sandy shore and drink a cup of tea with me as we discover glimpses of The Holy.
